"MIXING IS BETTER" conference at Samoter
The conference held at Samoter and organized by the UNACEA (Unione Nazionale Azienda Construction Equipements Attachments) has focused on the importance of mixing concrete in order to ensure the safety of structures.
The secretary-general of the Unacea association, Luca Nutarelli, has listed a number of issues affecting the production of industrial concrete, among which is the lack of mixing. And often the lack of mixing of the material affects the quality of the materials and of course the durability of the structures.
Mr. Nutarelli recalled that 85% of concrete production in Italy is made by plants without concrete mixers, unlike what happens not only in the major European countries, but also in important markets such as USA, Algeria and Saudi Arabia.
However, the importance of getting quality and controlled materials is increasingly felt by designers, and there are many studies that show that the quality, safety and strength of the concrete are linked and guaranteed by mixing it through concrete mixers.
